Spider Web Marketing System - Is It A Scam?

Too Good To Be True?

"Too good to be true."

My parents warned me from the time I was little to stay away from anything that appears too good to be true, because it probably is.

Sometimes during my life I have followed that advice. I admit it rings in my head everytime I fall for some pitch. Like when we go to the state fair and come home with all kinds of miracle products hawked by the vendors - you know, the "As Seen On TV" kind of stuff. Too bad they usually cost us more that the "only $19.99" as offered in theTV ads.

Well, when it comes to the world of network marketing, too good to be true, is an all too common reality. Daily I see banner ads for some business or other that claims it will make me a fortune overnight. Some of them even claim to be free. I saw one where they said they would pay me! Now I might be a little slow sometime, but what kind of business gives money away for nothing and then makes a profit?

So when I saw an ad for the SpiderWeb Marketing System, claiming I could make money by giving away FREE Marketing Systems - I heard "SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!" screaming in my head. I watched the introductory video with the intention of being able to explain to others why it is a scam. After all, I'm a network marketer and I talk to people all the time who are really trying to find a legitimate business to pour their time, money and heart into.

Where Does The Money Come From If You're Not Selling A Product?

Hmmm.... This one really is different. Kimball Roundy has designed a system where you sign up for various affiliations, mostly with search engines and social networking sites. These all intertwine forming a web of sorts. Then you inject a little advertising money into AdWords. That money is essentially a "funded proposal." Your ads generate targeted leads that are actually seeking your kind of business, so you don't have to bother your family and friends. They follow the same step-by -step tutorial videos, build a web, fund their proposal and start generating their own leads. When you follow this formula, everyone "above you" benefits financially from what you do. And you benefit financially from what you do. EVERYONE WINS!

Ingenious! I'm glad that I actually took the time to watch the introductory videos. I guess it's a good thing that I'm a skeptic, because at first glance, I would have brushed the opportunity aside.

Visit my WebWeavers website if you want to see the introductory videos. No obligation. I'm not trying to sell you anything!

Joey- Join the SpiderWeb System, and then put your energies into SelfBank! You will be glad you did!

leverne 3 years ago

You should just put your work into GDI

is it real can i make money i got kids am 18 and i need money

WebWeavers 3 years ago

Yes, but the amount you make is dependent upon how much time and effort you invest. Yes, GDI is a great way to create an income stream, but it is just one of the income streams that make up the SpiderWeb System. For the most entrepreneurial, SelfBank (one of the income streams) is perhaps your ticket to big money in the future.

You can invest a little or a lot with SpiderWeb. If you are looking to make A LOT of money right away, you will invest more. The system will show you a way that you can create that money you need to get your business going. Or you can invest nothing and build real slowly. Or invest a little and build the streams that most interest you.

This is NOT a scam or get-rich-quick scheme. It is a SYSTEM. It is totally free to sign up and go through all of the steps. Choose the ones that interest you. It's definitely worth the investment of your time to check it out.

AND... if you are involved in any other online marketing businesses, this will help you build those also.

You can't make money unless you refer some one. Spider web marketing system is a bait on GDI hook.

WebWeavers 3 years ago

GDI is just ONE of the streams of income. What is cool about the SpiderWeb system is that you are building multiple streams of income. Those streams of income require "referrals" but the beauty of SpiderWeb is that referrals come to you. I have never had to "prospect" friends and family. You start the web and others will help build it. You business can grow more quickly if you invest more time and/or money, but it will also grow if you let it grow on its own.

I just started the same system earlier this week. I think this system could actually work... I am totally convinced. do you have any pointers and I was wondering what your results have been and I need to let you know that I don't have the money right now to put anmore into it than I already have. (I chose to put the money into it) you don't have to byt the way!

There is a problem I encountered when test driving setting up My Spider Web site. When I tried to paste the url It would NOT save it. It just said saving and wouldn't save. The following day I just typed the url instead of cutting and pasting and it saved the url.It wasn't supposed to do that. I talked to my upline and sent an email to support at Roundgoods. The answer I got was to go to the Spider web Help Forum and get help from other users. The help Forum doesn' exist since it says down for maintenance.I asked my upline and he told me the help forum hadn't been up since he joined over a month ago. I e-mailed Kimball Roundy about the help Forum not working and he blew me off telling how much money he is making but not when I could get some REAL support when I had and issue. The system looks like a good one, however if you have an issue and can't get an answer form your upline, there is no where else to turn.I am not going to spend a month trying to set up Spider Web marketing when other s can get theirs going in a few days. And yes, I am quite computer literate. If Spider web gets that forum activated, I might give it another look. I cancelled my domain trial since Roundy basically blew me off.

Disappointed by lack of support.

Hey, Joseph-

My best advice is to set up your system best you can - because once you are set up it will basically run iteself. I also had some techincal problems at times. I also sent emails in to support. And (to be perfectly honest) didn't find the forum all that helpful. The problems end up getting fixed when enough people yell, I think.

But hang in there. My best advice is to 1. Make sure you sign up for GDI, 2. Sign up for everything that is FREE, 3. Invest the time to learn about SelfBank Mobile and spend some time spreading the word and 4. Drive people to your website with free advertising.

I really like SpiderWeb, but I do it my own way.

i have trying for a week to login in but no go. it jusy syas on the login page , can anyone help please

annie 2 years ago

Webweavers, you seem to stress that you don't have to hassle friends and family for referrals. However, having set my own account, the 'SelfBank Mobile' lead seems to be based upon referring friends and family. do you or anyone else know how to use selfbank mobile by getting online referrels? Thank you.

I am sure that people using the social networking tools in the Self Bank back office are getting TONS of sign-ups. I have gotten most of my sign-ups from word of mouth and through the SpiderWeb marketing system.

Tony 2 years ago

my understanding is that thought the system has been working for some people, it is in the beta stage which would explain some of the bugs. all in all i still thnk it's worth trying because even though it does bait you with gdi, adwords and directmatches (among others) you still have the choice of wether you want them or not. i personally have had trouble trying to sign up with self bank and i hope i can get that straight before it's launched.

Great review on the spider web marketing system! Its not a scam and can help anybody build GDI and plus make a residual income!

Joel L 22 months ago

I am trying to get into spiderweb to find out how to join because it sounds interesting. I can not find a site where I can just sign up. What must I do?

Skeptic 3 months ago

What i'm afraid is this might be another way of someone hacking into my computer and atealing my info. What other research is there that this is legitamate and not a scam?
